Did you know that over 90% of people who try to make money with pay per click actually end up losing money... maybe you are one of them? Pay-Per-Click Marketing can be an extremely risky proposition if you don't know exactly what you are doing when setting up a campaign, and the recent crack downs have made it extremely difficult for a beginner (with little knowledge) to turn a profit, in fact statistics prove that a beginner entering into this form of marketing will more than likely lose money, and in many cases it can be a substantial amount.

There are a lot of ebooks on the market that will have you believing that anybody regardless of experience, knowledge and without a web presence can easily tap into the pay per click industry and start reaping hordes of cash almost over night... I say Rubbish!

The fact is that the PPC industry is extremely competitive and is often dominated by the "Big Dogs" with deep pockets, which makes it very difficult for a new marketer on a shoestring budget and with little knowledge to break into the PPC sector. Often times there are large companies vying for the first page of results who have huge advertising budgets and/or a dedicated staff of pay per click specialists who are very knowledgeable in all aspects of making money with pay per click.

But wait... Don't be discouraged!

As I mentioned a little earlier, the search engines have implemented some major crack downs not only in an effort to weed out those amateur advertisers that use to slap together quick campaigns that linked off to substandard content all in an effort to get you to buy something without really supplying you with any real information (after all, the search engines are all about quality content) but they have also implemented algorithmic changes that have actually leveled the playing field for all advertisers from novice to advanced making it as easy for a beginner with a limited budget as it is for the Big Dogs to get your ads on that coveted first page of results.

The idea behind these changes is that if your ad makes for a great user experience then you will be rewarded by way of having your ad placed very well in the search results and also by paying less for each click your ad generates. This is where knowledge is power, because the more you know about what is defined as a great user experience the better chances you have of actually dominating your niche and if done correctly you will become a successful pay per click marketer.

My advise to anyone trying to make money with pay per click is to learn how to properly optimize your ads in relation to your content as well as your chosen keywords thus creating that great user experience that the search engines demand, then you will have no problem in setting up profitable pay per click campaigns at will.

I can't stress this enough, when you become adept at this one facet of PPC marketing, I guarantee you can become a huge success!
